Confession of Faith
How does faith justify a sinner in the sight of God?
Faith justifies a sinner in the sight of God, not because of those other graces which always accompany it, nor because of the good works that are the fruits of it, nor as if the grace of faith, or any act flowing from it, were imputed to him for his justification, but only because it is an instrument by which he receives and applies Christ and his righteousness.

- Congregational Meeting and Catered Lunch
On Sunday, November 19, we will have a Congregational Meeting after church to nominate new officers. We will also have a catered lunch after the service and meeting for a time of fellowship together. The church is providing the catered lunch but individual donations to offset the cost of the lunch will be accepted. We hope this is a time of fellowship for our church family but also a time to invite visitors to stay and get to know our church. - Please get all announcements for the bulletin and/or newsletter to Linda in the church office by Tuesday of each week.
- Only one week left to bring turkeys and 5 lb. blocks of cheese for the Soup Kitchen Thanksgiving meal. Please bring turkeys to the church freezer and cheese to the church refrigerator. Sheryl McElwee will deliver the collections on Saturday morning, November 11th.
Congregational Prayer Focus: “Those going through chemotherapy, others wrestling with health issues, those who are struggling with family brokenness as holidays are approaching, prayer for the LOT Project, blessings on our Turkey and cheese donations for Thanksgiving, for us to be a community of love and service in a world filled with hatred and self-indulgence.”
