The Adult Choir – The choir is made up of adults who desire to minister through music in the worship service and for special occasions. No special training is required. Choir rehearsal is on Sunday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 PM.
Ms. Castellano’s Biography
Lauren was raised in Long Island, NY where she enjoyed a childhood filled with Jewish studies and artistic ventures, including piano studies at the Precollege Division of the Manhattan School of Music. After a brief hiatus from intense musical studies, she joined the choir at her high school and knew that choral singing was her true passion. She attended Rutgers University, NJ for Choral Music Education where she became a Christian her freshman year. Lauren began leading worship, both individually and for church bands, in 2009. Lauren has taught choral music to students in elementary, middle, and high schools in NJ and SC since 2012. She began accompanying the Young Memorial ARP Choir in 2018 and became the Music Director in 2019. She has two little ones (born 2018 and 2020) and loves to sing to Jesus, read, and practice hand-lettering.
